t’s raining almost ordinary in cherrapunji and we crave for some crispy and highly spiced deal with to revel in the weather. This classic Moongode recipe is a lovely way to rejoice the season. enjoy those with a cup of ginger tea and a few green chutney on the aspect. here is the recipe.
Dhuli moong dal – 1 cup
Ginger – 1 inch piece ( grated )
Salt to taste
Chaat masala – 1 tsp
Spring onion veggies – 2 cups
Onion – 1 cup ( chopped )
Coriander – 3 tbsp ( chopped )
green chili – 2 ( chopped )
Oil for frying
Recipe of Moongode
Wash and soak moong dal for 3-four hours.
Drain the water and grind the moong dal in a blender to make a smooth paste.
add a tbsp of water if required to make the paste.
Take out the paste in a bowl and blend with your hands for 5 mins to make it fluffy.
add all of the ultimate components to this paste and blend nicely.
warmth the oil in a non stick pan.
when the oil is warm, drop small rounds of the aggregate inside the oil.
Simmer the gas to medium and fry the moongode till nicely browned.
Serve without delay with coriander chutney.
