Chicken Pulav / Biriyani

This fowl pulav passed off in any such busy days when I desired to make something very short and exciting and this recipe is just the only. in contrast to a Biryani, wherein numerous guidance is required, this chicken Pulav is pretty easy to make and hits simply the proper spot on the palate. right here is the recipe to make it.



lengthy grain basmati rice – 2 cups
fowl – 1 kg
Oil – 4 tbsp
Cloves – 2-3
Black peppercorns – five-6
Cinnamon – 1 inch stick
Onion – 2 cups ( thinly sliced )
Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp
Tomato – 1 cup ( chopped )
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – half tsp
purple chili powder – 1 tsp
Garam masala powder – 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
Water – four cups
Salt to flavor
clean coriander and fried onions for garnishing


Wash and soak rice for 15 mins.
warmness oil in a pan

add cloves, black peppercorns and cinnamon.

Fry for 20 seconds.

add onions and fry until barely browned.
add ginger garlic paste and fry until onions are well browned.
add chook and cook on excessive warmness for three-4 minutes.
upload tomato and prepare dinner for a minute.
add coriander powder, turmeric powder, purple chili powder, garam masala powder, salt and cowl and cook dinner till hen is done.
